  • SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a vector format that stays sharp at any size. Browsers and design tools open it, but many upload forms only accept picture files.
  • HEIC is apple photo format. It is lossy, so it has a quality setting. It cannot store transparency.

SVG to HEIC questions

How do I convert SVG to HEIC?

Add your SVG files with the box above, check that HEIC is selected in Convert to, and press Download. The conversion happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

Will converting SVG to HEIC lower the quality?

HEIC is a lossy format, so the picture is compressed again when it is saved. Keep the quality between 85 and 95 and the result looks the same as the SVG for almost every photo.

What happens to transparency when I convert SVG to HEIC?

HEIC cannot be see-through, so transparent areas are filled with a solid colour. It is white by default and you can pick another colour.

What size is the converted SVG?

The SVG is drawn at its own width and height and saved as a picture. Vector shapes become pixels, so enlarge the SVG first if you need a bigger result.

Can I convert many SVG files at once?

Yes. Add up to 50 files together, then download them one by one or as a single ZIP.

Is my SVG file uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser on your own device, and your files are never sent to a server. Camera details and GPS location are not carried into the new file.
