Resize SVG images in your browser
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a vector format that stays sharp at any size. Browsers and design tools open it, but many upload forms only accept picture files. This SVG resizer shows the new size and file size live, keeps proportions, can hit a file size limit and handles up to 50 images at once. Nothing is uploaded.
How to resize a SVG image
- Drop your SVG files onto the page, press Choose images, or paste a picture.
- Pick how to set the size: Pixels, Percent or Preset.
- Check the live preview and the numbers under it. Open Settings for the format, quality or a file size limit.
- Press Download for the current image, or Download all to get every image in one ZIP file.
SVG resizing questions
How do I resize a SVG image?
Add your SVG files with the box above, set a width and height, a percent or a preset, check the live preview and press Download. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Will resizing lower the quality of a SVG?
Making a SVG smaller keeps it sharp because it is reduced in steps, and the SVG format keeps every pixel it is given. Making it larger cannot add detail.
Is the resized SVG saved as SVG?
The resizer saves JPEG, PNG or WebP. A SVG is saved as PNG by default, and you can choose JPEG or WebP in Settings.
What happens to transparency in a SVG?
See-through areas stay see-through when the result is a PNG or WebP. A JPEG cannot be see-through, so those areas get the background colour you choose.
What size is the converted SVG?
The SVG is drawn at its own width and height and saved as a picture. Vector shapes become pixels, so enlarge the SVG first if you need a bigger result.
